Congratulations for taking the first big step toward improving your golf game!
The simple truth about golf is, no matter what your age, ability, or the kind of equipment you purchase, the only real way to receive long-term improvement & added enjoyment is from qualified instruction.
There isn’t a golfer around who wouldn’t mind making their game a little better. Whatever your level of commitment to the game, I know how to enhance your enjoyment through reinforcing the basic fundamentals of the game. The fundamentals, the key components found in all good ball-strikers, have been around for over 150 years. In my constant pursuit to help students learn these fundamentals quicker yet simply, I have selected a wonderful assortment of learning aides that I have found to be the best. These aides, which complement my teaching philosophy, combine the ideas that have been handed down since the early 1900’s with the latest in video and computer technology for a truly great learning experience.
As the saying goes, “golf is a game of misses.” I want you to become your own best coach. When you’re out on the course and shots start to veer off target, I want you to be able to evaluate the problem and then apply the proper solution. This, my friends, adds a great deal of enjoyment and satisfaction to playing better golf!
Practice-this is a must! If you are serious about shooting consistently lower scores, you must set time aside to work on your techniques and hone your skills. It is no different than setting time aside to exercise regularly to stay healthy and feel better. I will say however, that to improve your technique, the road may start off a bit bumpy and the ride can be a little uncomfortable at first. This is a very normal and natural progression in your travels to a better golf game. I simply ask that you be very patient with yourself because the initial bumps incurred will be well worth the smooth ride later on!
My 20+ years of teaching and coaching all levels of golfers will help put you on the road to better golf.

GOLF INSTRUCTION PROGRAM DETAILS:All participants will receive a student workbook, USGA rules book and 15% off coupon for golf shop merchandise. The Pat Gorman Academy uses the V1 computer software program for swing analysis -- this is the same software used by Butch Harmon and many other top teachers in the country. ALL programs are 3 hours a day and start at either 9:00 am or 1:00 pm. |

Perfect for those individuals who want to start the game or have just started. Topics covered will be; on-course rules and etiquette tips, emphasis on scoring game shots inside 50 yards and some long game instruction. A fun & simple way to start the game of a lifetime!

| “Family Timeout” Academy | $349/family |
In today’s fast paced world spending quality family time together is becoming more of a challenge. This is a wonderful and unique program promoting family time while improving your fundamentals in a relaxed first-class learning environment. This program will have a nice blend of learning proper etiquette, long and scoring game instruction.

| “Skills n’ Strategy” Academy | $199/person |
This program is a great blend of improving your long and scoring game fundamentals then applying it on-course. The session will focus on putting and pitching instruction followed by proper long game practice. Then onto the golf course to understand how to make high percentage decisions with total commitment to each shot.

| ”Top Gun” Junior Training Camp - 9 hours over 3 days |
$299/person |
This fun yet intensive 3-day program is designed for those junior golfers age 12-17. This program runs three hours per day over three days and will cover all areas of the game, including on-course instruction with a focus on high percentage golf, using the proper mindset, pre-shot routine development, learning how to practice effectively, and emphasis on the scoring game. We will conclude the camp with a 9-hole competition!

REGISTRATION:
The Pat Gorman Academy requires a 50% deposit one month in advance of your academy start date to secure your reservation. The balance is due 10 days prior to your start date. Cancellations within 72 hours of your start date will forfeit your deposit. In the case of inclement weather the Director of Golf will determine if conditions allow continuance of academy programs. There are no refunds due to weather cancellations
