Ready for Golf Season
In the fall of 2025, we began a major green restoration project to bring Wild Rock back to the championship level of golf we are all used to. Our crew has worked tirelessly to re-sod our greens with nearly 10,000 square feet of fresh new sod to bring the track back to glory. While it was a long process, some incredible fall weather allowed the work to be completed successfully – and the greens look better than ever. In addition to resodding, we removed hundreds of invasive trees throughout the course to improve and create new sight lines. We can’t wait for the 2026 season so you can see all that we have done.
Here is a sneak peak of the process we’ve made:
Hole 9
On hole 9 we’ve cleared out overgrown and invasive black locust trees behind the green recreating this course view which hasn’t been seen since 2008. On the green complex we restored and improved the drainage. Will hole 9 be the hole you record an ace on in 2026?

Hole 14
Hole 14 has a fully rebuilt and sodded green. Now back to its original view with the removal of invasive buckthorn, black locust and barberry around the green complex. New exposure to airflow around the green will allow the wind to challenge your approach shot. Are you still going for the green in 2?

Hole 15
Hole 15, one of our signature holes, is going to look a lot different in 2026. Removing all the black locust trees and years of overgrown brush has restored this hole back to its original look from opening day in 2008. This throwback look makes the tee shot more intimidating then ever. Are you ready for the challenge?

We are very eager to show off the track in 2026. We cannot wait to see you out on the Rock!
